In all aspects, GCC Children’s Ministry will be REAL for Jesus.  We will be reaching out with the hands of Jesus.  We will be encouraging with words of Jesus.  We will be acting with the feet of Jesus.  We will be loving with the heart of Jesus.

Our children are not the church of tomorrow, but are rather a vital part of the church today.  GCC offers Bible classes, fellowship opportunities, service projects, and numerous parties throughout the year in order to engage the children of GCC in the Kingdom of God.  God continues to bless GCC with a numerous highly motivated adults who all share a passion to see our children involved, growing and having fun.  Children at GCC are at the center of what we do, and consequently all of the ministry that happens at GCC gives thought to how it furthers the spiritual lives of our youngest members.  

Children's Bible Classes

Before worship each Sunday, our children have the opportunity to get together in different classes and learn more about the Bible. Classes are taught from a set curriculum and geared towards helping the children build a foundation for their faith.  

Children's Church

Children's Church is a time during the sermon where kids 2 years old through 5th grade meet in age appropriate groups to spend time singing, learning, and creating together. Children's church is led by adult members of the church and assisted by some members of the GCC Youth Group. 

Children's Up reach

Children’s Up reach is GGC’s Wednesday night offering for young children.  Upreach includes a staffed Nursery, a Toddler Transition Class, and a program for PreK through 5th Grade.  The Nursery is a place for babies to play in a safe and loving environment.  The Transition class is designed to help 2 and 3 year olds transition from Nursery to a more structured class setting.  The program for the older kids begins with a time of age-appropriate worship.  Students help lead songs and prayers, and an adult provides the Bible lesson.  Students then move to rooms where fun, loud, and sometimes messy activities are provided to reinforce the Bible lesson.  The evening ends with snack time and occasionally playground time.
