At GCC we value not only hearing the word of God but also applying it in our daily lives.  Our connection groups are specifically designed to give people a forum to discuss scripture with one another for the purposes of integrating the Bible into the way we live Monday through Saturday.  Connection groups last about an hour, feature a series of discussion questions, and end with a time of us praying for each other.  We have found that groups of 8-12 adults can apply scripture and encourage one another through prayer in a way not possible in larger worship settings, and we encourage all our members to be involved in connection groups.  

Our afternoon connection group meets after morning services. We go out and grab some fast food or bring lunch from home and eat together. After lunch we meet in a classroom and discuss the topic for the day, which usually relates to the sermon. Childcare is provided during the classroom session by a rotating pair of attendees.

The evening connection group meets at 6PM and covers the same material. The  youth group also meets unless another activity has been scheduled.
